Catch-Up Post - KL RoadTrip Day 2

Day 2 of our trip started with breakfast at the apartment...quite limited spread unlike the usual international buffet in hotels but decent enough. For the price that we paid (RM700++ as its the Raya Promo), I guess its pass-able.

 After breakfast it was straight to Pavillon! We took two cabs there with the koh and tan in one cab plus two strollers and their two helpers with us. Somehow their cab driver let them alighted at a place that required some walk to the mall, hmm, not very considerate of the driver especially since there were two babies and two strollers?? Anyway, we managed to meet at a common point after some IDD calls.

As we never have the habit of bringing stroller even in Singapore, we decided to loan a stroller from Pavillon since Ashley was feeling sleepy. It was free of charge and what's more, its branded - from UK brand Papa and Mama.

Not sure if its because our hubbies were with us?? Somehow shopping seemed pretty boring all of a sudden. We only managed to get a watch for Ashton which was the same price as in Singapore but being busy parents, we decided to buy when we see it as long as its not more expensive than what we pay at home. The Kohs and Tans didn't do too well either, they bought some couple tees, I think. We had bak ku teh at one of the restaurant which was really very average - both for food and service. Never gonna to eat there anymore. We had early dinner at a Straits Chinese restaurant selling the typical hawker fare, with the usual hawker standard too. Honestly, I think its probably because we didn't research on 'where to eat' as my KL friends always commented that the food is great! After dinner, its time to go to back to the the apartment so that we can prepare for our night program - KTV at Pavillon.

The KTV was definitely the highlight of the trip - with a dozen bottles of beer, we paid about SGD90+ per couple. Ashton had the privilege to follow the adults, his first time at KTV! Since we didn't bring our helper to KL, we had to leave Ashley in the care of the Kohs and Tans helpers. When we got back, we saw all three kids on the bed. They told me Ashley cried for about 15minutes and slept soon after that. I felt quite bad that Ashley had to go through this, but I guess she would have to be in the care of strangers when she start school, so this was a preview for us and her.
